Facts You Might Not Know about Soft Ice Cream

In 1934, an ice cream truck driver’s vehicle broke down in New York. He began to serve softened ice cream to people nearby on vacation. They loved it so much that he decided to open his own ice cream shop and serve soft ice cream.

Soft serve ice cream is made with a different process than other types of ice cream. To make soft ice cream, air is introduced during the freezing process.

Have Some Creamy Soft Ice Cream on a Cone or in a Sundae at Praline’s

Come to your local Praline’s on Saturday, August 19 to have some of our soft serve ice cream in a sundae or on a cone. We can serve your ice cream on one of our four types of cones.

If you would like to have your soft serve ice cream in a sundae, Praline’s has dozens of delicious toppings to go along with it. We can pour mallocream fudge, caramel, butterscotch, or peanut butter sauce over your ice cream. We can also top your ice cream with some delicious marshmallow fluff.

We can sprinkle your choice of several types of candy on top of your sundae. We have chocolate and rainbow sprinkles, Mini M&Ms, Mini Reese’s Pieces, chocolate chips, rainbow nonpareils, Gummy Bears, coconut flakes, toasted coconut, Nerds, and granola. If you like cookies on your sundae, Praline’s has Oreos and cookie dough. If you prefer fruit, we have Maraschino cherries and strawberry, raspberry, pineapple, and cherry toppings. We can finish off your soft serve sundae with walnuts or almonds.
