Sick of the snow yet?
Is that a silly question?
Ready for spring yet?
We know. Another silly question.
There sure is a lot of snow around these parts. There are some folks who will take snow and make ice cream with the snow.
Start doing some searching and you will find plenty of recipes for snow ice cream. Condensed milk is usually on the list. You’ll likely see vanilla extract. Is this all you need for snow ice cream? Not hardly. But the process is not very complicated. After all, it’s just snow.
Really, you can use any flavor ingredients you want. So here are some suggestions on whipping up tasty snow ice cream:
Get those ingredients. Grab some sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract and whatever other flavor ingredient you want. Maybe some chopped fruit. Or little maraschino cherry juice. How about chocolate syrup? It’s all good.
Take those ingredients along with about eight cups of snow (try to make it clean snow). Toss the snow in a bowl. Prepare to work fast so you can keep everything cold. Get metal spoon or spatula for mixing.
Pour some of the sweetened condensed milk onto the snow. This should results in a fluffy mixture. Then throw in the flavor ingredients.
Of course not everyone is ready to indulge in ice cream made from snow. Maybe you want someone else to do the ice cream-making. Let Praline’s take care of it for you.
