5 Ways to Enjoy Praline’s Ice Cream This Summer

June 12, 2017

A person holding an ice cream cone on the beach. One of the best ways to cool off this summer is to refresh yourself with our own made, award-winning ice cream. There are several ways you can consume our delicious dessert with our wide variety of flavors and toppings.

On A Cone

Have a scoop, or more, of your favorite ice cream flavor on one of our cones.  Pile scoops of ice cream up high on one of our four cones, which are our cake cones that have a flat bottom, our light and flaky wafer cone, a waffle cone to fit more scoops of our creamy ice cream, or a sugar cone to add a little more sweetness.

Try one of our three cone dip flavors to add a little extra sweetness to your summer day.  We can dip your cone in our signature flavors of either chocolate or cherry on our waffle cones.

With Our Fruit Toppings

If you’re craving one of our decadent sundaes, try adding one of our prepared fruit toppings. This can put a refreshing twist on your ice cream sundae.  Try from one of our five fruit flavors.

Our maraschino cherry fruit topping will have you in delight as you eat a bite full of flavor knowing you have more than just one cherry on top.  We also have our pineapple topping which is packed with sweet chunks of this Summer time favorite.  Other fruit toppings to enjoy on your sundae are strawberry, cherry and our wholesome raspberry flavor.

On Your Way Home from the Beach

Many parents take their kids to the beach in the summer to lie down and relax by the water. The refreshing water of Connecticut beaches isn’t the only way you can cool yourself off. On your way home after a long hot day in the sun, treat your family to our award-winning ice cream.  We have many fun summer flavors everyone in the whole family can enjoy, including; swirled pink and blue cotton candy, coconut with mixed in coconut flakes, mint flavors with either Oreo or chocolate chunks mixed in, fresh banana blended ice cream, and more. Parents can enjoy our seasonal liquor flavors of either Peach Schnapps with chunks of peaches, or our Blueberry Schnapps with fresh blueberries mixed in.

Make these summer ice cream flavors even better by adding our candy toppings for a crunchier bite.  Some of our toppings include toasted coconut, coconut flakes, gummy bears and more that the whole family can choose from.

With Our Sorbet Flavors

If you want a cool treat, but aren’t looking for a creamy scoop of ice cream this Summer, try one of our sorbets or sherbets.  Our sorbets come in three different flavors and are dairy-free, so if you’re lactose intolerant you can also enjoy a delicious treat from any one of our Praline’s shops.  Our lemon, strawberry and raspberry sorbets are made from sweetened water, with the fresh fruit flavor of your choice.

We also have two flavors in our own made sherbets.  These frozen desserts come in either orange or watermelon and are made from sweetened water and cream.

At a Summer Picnic

Picnics are a great way to get your family and friends together over the Summer.  Good thing our ice cream pies are perfect for social gatherings.  Stop by in any of our Connecticut stores to pick up one of our five ice cream pies that will have your guests coming back for more.

Our Coconut Cream Pie comes with a graham cracker shell that is coated with toasted coconut, our Mint Chip Pie is a mint chocolate chip ice cream with a fudge core and drizzled chocolate on top and our Mud Pie comes with coffee Oreo ice cream with a fudge center and more chocolate drizzled on top. You can also try either our Nightmare Pie that has a chocolate and peanut butter ice cream with chunks of peanut butter cups, or our Black Bottom Pie that has a layer of chocolate and a layer of vanilla with a fudge core.
