High on Ice Cream?

Folks who like to make ice cream sometimes include flavors or ingredients that you will not find at your local ice cream shop.

Sometimes it does not go well.

Take one couple from Northwestern Iceland. The couple decided to add a little something “herbal” in their homemade ice cream. Police say the couple concocted homemade cannabis ice cream and things allegedly went awry.

Police say one person ended up outside running naked. The other person was apparently concerned enough about their mental health to call police. Authorities say couple was staying in a cabin in a village as part of a “weekend break”.

So how did the couple come up with the recipe for cannabis ice cream? They apparently looked up the recipe on the internet.

The ice cream-making apparently went ok. The consumption apparently is when the wheels started to come off. Police say shortly after the couple ate ice cream, the boyfriend took his clothes off and began running naked outside, possibly suffering hallucinations. Meantime, the girlfriend became ill and eventually called emergency services.

The couple was taken for medical care, just to make sure they were ok. Turns out they were, outside of the ice cream scare.

So let’s not get too crazy with ice cream that might result in bodily harm. Instead, let’s just enjoy all the legal ways we can love ice cream.
